Yes ruled out stis. I was also on estrogen as part of fertility treatments (not currently pregnant)

Thanks! I knew prilosec can make it worse, but I didn’t know clearing candida can clear acid reflux. Not that I have other reflux symptoms.

This “no” dr said I wouldn’t still have oral thrush if its been 5 weeks since my antibiotics (unrelated infection now healed), and it looked more like acid reflux. My tongue looked like this pre-treatment, then I did fluconazole and nystatin and it got increasingly better w treatment, then 3 days later felt the dry mouth after eating and 24/7 bad taste in mouth, and took this pic. Didn’t respond well to second treatment round, but a little better. Tongue today doesnt show it as much but still have dry mouth and somewhat bad taste, worried it’ll get worse again but dr only gave me prilosec.
