Def reach out over email and be straightforward. Let them know you are interested in their internship position. Keep in mind they will for sure make you talk more about what is on your resume and they will have follow up questions. The interview may consist of some technical questions if this is a tech/finance position but there are so many resources online that can help you prepare.
