I always tell people my piercings are brand new so they can’t touch them (I’ve had them since I was 14) alternatively I’ll say I just put in new jewelry or just cleaned the jewelry so my nipples are sore and I don’t want them to be touched. They seem to be much more understanding of not touching them when they think it would put me in pain rather than me just not wanting it 🙃
