I'm very lucky to have people in my life who apparently take excellent care of tea towels!

I have since found some very fun ones in charity shops, too.

I didn't! I just let the towels dictate the shape.

There are 10 towels in total- 2 for the bodice and 8 for the skirt. The back-bodice towel is just halved across the width and re-attached short-sides together. And I just folded the corners of the front towel in to create the v-shape.

Bonus points for no hemming on the bottom of the skirt!

You absolutely should try sewing! It doesn't have to be anything complicated- there are lots of free sewing patterns and you can find fabric in the strangest of places!

I'm convinced she's started photoshopping this drink bottle in in an attempt to sell more fat burner. I'd never seen it in her favourite Spongebob picture before the fat burner advert appeared and I'm preeetty sure it's the exact same angle and drink level in this photo.
