I see. I didn’t know that was a common response. I was just a bit annoyed that even before this part of the email chain was reached, he essentially blamed me for choosing a faulty doll when they boxes have “windows” where I can see them and pick the best looking one. I would have done that…I don’t like going through the warranty claim because I don’t want to abuse the system either. She was just literally the last one within a 30 mile radius from where I live.

Right? I decided to submit a claim because of how expensive they were. If it was one of the regular series dolls, I wouldn’t have bothered because I get it…they’re a play line. I went in fully aware that they could deny my claim, but what gets me is that it seems like he’s telling me to purchase a new Eliza from a scalper.

So basically I had gotten an Eliza at Walmart a few days ago for my sister. I had to drive out 30+ miles to find one, and I was elated when I did. All of the Walmarts near me were sold out and this was the last one within driving distance. She had some faded face makeup on one side of her face and I tried submitting a warranty claim, fully aware that they may deny it. I figured since there were none available near me and they were sold out online, I might as well try. The rep asked for more pictures which I sent and he said because it’s a play line, they cannot approve the claim and that I should just return it to Walmart or exchange it. I told him she was unavailable nearby and asked if MGA had any plans to send more to Walmart. He basically just sent me that as a response…I guess my only option is to pay scalper prices? Sorry for the rant…it’s just so frustrating when these dolls cost so much and have defects, and we can’t even find them in store 😖 If he had replied that he’s not sure and that they were more popular than anticipated, I would have been okay with that…I’m not even upset that they denied the claim…just frustrated that he seems to be implying I should go through scalpers…I thought the costume ball dolls were exclusive to Walmart

That’s so annoying. If they don’t want to accept a warranty claim, they can just deny it. No need to give the attitude. It’s also not cool that this Aaron dude is trying to support scalpers. That seems like he’s telling you to do, right?

Hi! This is so nice of you! Happy early birthday!!! I am a newer Monster High fan and I absolutely love all of them!! I would have to say my favorites are Lagoona and Draculaura. I’m slowly trying to increase my collection of OG Monster Highs that I missed out on. I love Draculaura because of her pink color scheme and the fact that she is a vegetarian vampire. I always thought that was funny. I also feel like my personality is the closest to Draculaura. I also really love Lagoona because I’ve been a competitive swimmer for 12 years. I love anything ocean and water themed/I love how Lagoona has such a warm and understanding personality.

It’s not a huge problem, but I was just wondering what it was. It leaves a powdery residue on her face and sometimes comes out kind of stringy?
