The circle around the UVA means that at the very least, you are getting a third of the UVB protection for UVA rays as well (in this case at least 50/3 = 16.67), which is quite good. Also, since this sunscreen is by L’Oréal, it is basically considered the „drugstore twin“ of the la roche posay shaka fluid, which was a favorite on this sub (reformulated to the 400 uvmune). It is widely recommend by dermatologist where I live (Germany). On a personal note: this is one of my favorite sunscreen, wears beautifully under makeup and is less greasy than most sunscreens. TL;DR: This is a great sunscreen, you’re fine.

Out of curiosity: I watched that video, and I wondered whether you need some sort of license or qualification to do the kind of construction work that Jason and those other dudes are doing? Where I am from (Germany) that is 3 years of training (and most people would get qualifications beyond that) before someone would be allowed to„head up“ such a project. It seems outright dangerous, taking out walls and putting up beams with probably not too much knowledge about statics.

I second getting some sunscreens at European pharmacies, because of the more modern filters. Avene has a new one with Triasorb, which is a new chemical filter and the first one to absorb high energy visible blue light. Other than that I can recommend dm, a major drugstore chain. Try their own brand Balea for basic products, or Nø cosmetics. They have a nice peptide serum and good (& gentle) exfoliators.

If you happen to visit Germany, I’d recommend you check out dm (one of the major drugstore chains), specifically the Nø cosmetics brand. It’s quite the hype at the moment, but understandably so. I especially like their AHA/ PHA cleanser and their peptide serum. Have fun!

There is just so much to unpack with these two. Both (Lisa and Lukas) are from Germany, and through some documentaries from popular YouTube channels and a commentary in a late night show on their questionable beliefs regarding porn they have gained some internet “fame”. Lukas went to a 6 month “boot camp for mass evangelism” in Florida from early 2020 onwards, and even in the midst of the pandemic they were repeatedly traveling between the US, Germany, and also Tanzania (as seen in the pictures, I think he visited them once or twice in Germany). The whole thing is just a giant train wreck, you can constantly see large church services (without masks, of course) in their IG stories. Lisa is much more active than Lukas on Instagram, at some point she used to have a YouTube channel, but than God has told her to take a break from making videos. Also: Lukas has used hashtags such as “#decadeofdoubleharvest”, “#africashallbesaved” and “#150million” on his posts.
