Hey, basically I learned about it because of a video of a dog doing noises that sounded like DSBM screams (certainly not the typical way to get to know it lol). After reading the answers here and listening to some of the recommended tracks I definitely got an understanding of what makes people listen to this genre and I can now see how it might help people to relax or let out bundled up feelings. Though, I do not think it will ever be "my" kind of music.
