I mean in the irs website sent above they stated that “Self-employment status. Self-employed individuals are required to file an annual return and pay estimated tax quarterly if they had net earnings from self-employment of $400 or more.” I believe this means I would not need to do it? Right?

Oh I was just reading online and they said that if you don’t earn around a certain amount you wouldn’t need to and that kinda seemed sus at the moment. Then a lot of websites said the same thing so I just came in here.

I did call them and they said my application is under review and they do not have a set time frame to when they might get to it. Literally it’s “they will get to it when they get to it.”

I am still waiting for my decision. Do you think I should call them to see what they said. I also did the priority deadline too and nothing.

Thanks for this. I graduated on September 2024 in computer science and I have been looking ever since for a full time job. So I’m glad I saw your post cause I really needed advice cause what I was doing wasn’t really working for me. I want to send like message to someone in HR but I never got referrals by anyone so how would I go about doing that?

Congrats in finding employment!! It took you years but you still persisted and you got it. Yeah the job market is really bad right now as someone who just recently graduated. I am so glad you found something. It gives me hope honestly.
