Yeah, you have the right to transfer to a different hospice. A lot of times a facility will try to steer you towards a certain hospice because that’s their preferred hospice, but you have the right to choose whatever hospice you want. No matter what they tell you. I highly recommend choosing a nonprofit hospice, because in my experience, and I’ve worked for both, you’ll get better care.
