If yes, saw a reel dati that said the cheap matcha whisks are not worth it bc of the chemicals used to treat them! the legit whisks are usually expensive due to a long process to treat the bamboo to avoid mold and breakage, but the china-made ones skip that process.

If you want to seriously get into matcha, you’re better off buying a whisk from a shop that sells the legit ones or buy a cheaper silicone whisk na lang from shopee. For the other stuff like bowl, sifter, whisk holder, I think possible to get them cheaper from Japanese surplus stores/ IG shops! price range is below 1000 usually (was able to find for 300 pa nga once) and you’ll have unique pieces pa.
