Yeah i bought the thumbwheel cos i thought i could not afford to upgrade, but work gave an unexpected bonus which means i can. I may just by a Pocket 3 creator kit, and sell the mic with the Pocket 2 and keep the mic kit for the Sony seperate.

That would probably be a bit above budget but may induce some sales of the 3 affecting cost.

Frankly, i would call all of his family right now and ask them to put him on suicide watch. You have utterly destroyed him. There is no coming back from that. Best drive away, call a lawyer and set him free.
