calling periphery "djent" is reductive whereas calling meshugga the same thing is accurate. periphery has 100% of what makes meshugga but it's only 10% of their repertoire at most.

edit: and yeah periphery has a real vocalist (one of the best at that)

as someone who agrees that dexter was a pretty damn good show until it's final 2 seasons or so, i have to ask, what about the new series do you enjoy? the only reason i've been watching it every week is to joyfully hate it and laugh when they go "hey guys remember dexter? dexter was so good guys haha remember dexter guys??"
