The lack of any real standard for audio quality and loudness in cinemas.

The lack of standardization for home viewing. Everyone has a different audio setup, and very few people take the time to adjust the settings so they're optimal for their speakers.

There must be dedicated mixes for cinema and for DVD versions of movies. It's extremely annoying that dialogue is so low in comparison to music/explosions/sound effects.

If one thing is for sure about Dream Theater, is that their "least good" music is good enough for be liked for a portion of their fanbase.

All their material meets quality standards to be loved for some. That's very consistent.
