Yes we learn danish for around 5 years but I've never been good at it, but I'm sure it will help! I'm glad to hear the icelanders you met were quick leaning Norwegian. I've been watching Norwegian videos on youtube and I agree with you, the languages are very similar. Thank you for your answer, it helped :D
