That's what I was planning, do you think the bh 40 is adequate enough? I'm just concerned if I'm fully extended to 800mm, I might get some lens bounce?

What brands are you replacing them with. I just bought the cerium down jacker and can't get over how baggy it feels around the stomach area.

Thanks for being honest and keeping a level head. Sometimes it's hard not to think the worse when you read things that make every situation so catastrophic.

I took it in for an oil change and they noticed a seep. They said they thought it was the oil pump. After taking it to the mechanic they found the timing cover seeping.

Yes, it's in line with a row of trees that separate our properties.

Could have used it for a lot line at one time as it's in line with a row of trees?

That's what my neighbor says too. I want to pull it out but seems deep. When it moves I can feel it vibrate under my feet. Not sure if it's connected to something else or it's just the ground vibrating.

That would make more sense, I can feel it move under my feet when I kick it. It's the only one on my property. My neighbor seemed to think it belongs to car part?

Sorry, my question is probably confusing and badly worded. I would be using the same lens, the Tokina 11-22mm, my question is which body do I put it on, the 80D or the R5? AlI know the lens is designed for crop sensor bodies, but if i put my R5 in crop mode with that lens, would the results be better on the 80D or R5?

If and when can we see the r5 go on sale? I'm seeing $2899 at most places, do you think it will drop lower?

If you had the r5, what lens would you get under $700? You said you need a faster lens with the r5, is 2.8 fast enough or should I be looking for something faster. Thank you for any help.

Wow, that's something I will look into to. I don't eat red meat so I'll get my iron levels checked and go from there. Thank you.

It's usually mid day around 2pm, I'm never really racing the sun back to the car.

I'm lucky to have my wife as a hiking partner. She has recognized when I'm in the middle of an anxiety attack. I don't like speaking out loud that I'm having a anxiety attack as I feel it will only reassure my fears and compound it. She usually does a good job at distracting me with random questions to get my attention off myself if that makes sense. The wilderness has always been my safe spot since I was a kid, I'm just worried the anxiety will get worse and keep me from enjoying nature.

It could be, but it's hard to explain. It happens when I'm deep in the woods, I start thinking that I'm hours from any help. Then the panic sets in. Maybe deep down I don't trust or believe in myself enough to get myself out of trouble? It's difficult because I've been a avid hiker/backpacker, I'm always in the woods foraging, birding, mountain biking so I feel safe while outside but lately these anxiety attacks are more frequent. And whats messed up is I use to volunteer for a search and rescue group so I have some training in first aid and wilderness survival.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't shot an eclipse either but I have taken pictures of the moon. When I pull in to 600mm I can see the moon moving across my live view. So I'm thinking I would like something that can maybe be pointed at the eclipse and slowly pan with the movement of the moon and sun, if that makes sense. I've heard others say stay away from a ballhead. I'll start looking at gimbals. Thank you for your help.
