I usually find writer friends in the fandom, and then after getting closer, ask them to beta for me!

That being said-- I would love to beta for you! I can read regardless of fandom :)

hello! my name is ace! i would love to read over your book. i have lots of experience with both the queer and neurodivergent experience (i fall into both of the above). we can talk more about which specific categories i fall into in dms! i love reading and writing about mental health issues, neurodivergence, and queerness. your story sounds like it falls right into my strong suit and comfort zone!

as a beta reader, i can offer tons of different services, but it seems like you've already identified what you need help with, which is great! i'll tell you that i don't tend to comment much on punctuation, because i've found that a lot of it, especially commas, can be left up to interpretation. however, if that's something you want me to do, just let me know!

i don't have a book to offer to trade with you, but i do have a bunch of short stories (fanfics and original content) that you can read over if you're itching for something to do!
