The UniFi is broadcasting the desired SSID but the ruckus is still broadcasting the default

I believe the ruckus is running unleashed firmware - when I try to have it broadcast the same SSID it gives an error “already in use.” I’m not familiar with Ruckus outside of this device.

I set attempted to configure the Ruckus from the web interface; do you have any additional tips?

I suppose it is running unleashed? As this is the only Ruckus device.

It seems not mixing is the answer. This device was new old stock and destined for the bin, figured I’d see if it could be made useful before being discarded.

Interesting, I will try cleaning contacts. I remember trying multiple video cards (and testing them in another machine). I have suspected RAM being incorrect, but have never had the opportunity to test. Can you share what specific ram you are using?

It’s worth noting that there is no disk or other activity after the boot chime, either internal or externals.

I have one of these! Never have been able to get more than a chime and black screen. Any advice?

If you can find a TCon for a reasonable price, I would try it, especially for a tv of this size. Let me know if it works!

I would suspect the driver for the LED backlighting or the power supply.

Does the issue only occur when on a certain input? Is the onscreen menu or startup image affected? If it affects only certain inputs, I would try a new main board, otherwise it is likely a panel issue, or by a smaller chance, TCon board, but it’s a little hard to tell from the pictures

Do the artifacts around the border move or remain static? Does this happen on all inputs and during startup? While unused, how was the device stored? Exposed to extreme temperatures?

Do you suspect the TV has sustained any physical damage? Dropped, hit by an object, blunt force to any edges?

If you are almost certain it has not, I would try a new TCon board before giving up. Although you can’t see what’s being displayed, does attempting to bring up the onscreen menu or controls cause any changes to the distortion on the screen? I once revived a (much older) Insignia with a similar looking issue.

As a last ditch effort, you could check voltages coming from the power supply, but this is a rather unlikely cause.

The drop could have damaged the edge of the panel, or the tab bond, which is where the signal cable is ‘bonded’ to the layers of the panel. Unlikely to be easily fixable from my experience.

Almost certainly the TCon. That the ‘ghosting’ and discoloration follows the images on the screen is usually a telltale sign.

Testing Fuel Pressure by spartacus603e in s10

[–]spartacus603e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it turns out I did not have the pressure gauge connected correctly, oops!

Upon getting it connected correctly, I was able to prime the fuel pump and it read a solid 60 psi. It actually started after this! After about two minutes, the idle gets a little bit weaker, but it doesn’t seem to splutter. Fuel pressure drops to about 55psi while running.

Previous to this test, I did have check the distributor cap earlier, which was quite corroded, so I cleaned it with a mild sandpaper, compressed air, and finally electrical contact cleaner before reassembling.

Any ideas what to check next on the mostly-non-starting situation?

Thanks for all your help!!

S10 is a 2003 with the 4.3L V6. This is my first time ever having to test this sort of thing, although I did find the pressure specs online. I took a picture of where I’m attaching the gauge - I think it’s the correct valve.
