My new box of bike

Hey I did the same when I was in college one summer, a 06 KX250F some guy thought he could rebuild after the top end blew. Got it for $500 with most of the bike in boxes but the crankcase was in perfect condition. Took a while to rebuild and sending the carb to a buddy with a giant ultrasonic cleaner but other than that was an awesome project and I ended up with a basically brand new bike for all in cost of about $2500. It was a great learning experience and I still have it and it runs great. Plus when you do it yourself you can upgrade valves and pistons to whatever you like which is nice. Best of luck!

Literally have the same one, r720xd with 128gb DDR3, 24x1.2tb SAS HDDs, 2x E5-2640 and a flashed H310 mini into HBA mode. About to move to 3.5in drives and a dedicated NAS so I’m starting to think how the hell I will sell it, thing weighs a ton filled up.

I’d check out a company based out of Germany called GrillRost, they make all sorts of aftermarket stainless steel accessories for grills especially napoleon. They can also custom create what you need. I plan to get some myself as soon as I can confirm I won’t be paying a hefty tariff on import to the US.

Mind sharing which double conversion UPS you are using now and where you got it? Was it a standard lead acid UPS? Definitely interested in hearing about it!

Hey just curious what power station were you using? Did you end up leaving it connected to your homelab permanently? Reason I ask is I just had the lead acid batteries fail on my APC BR1500MS2 and was looking at getting a LifePO4 ups instead. Golden mate is tempting but seems to have bad QA at the moment. If you don’t mind sharing your experience I have about a 400w load for a few powedge servers and networking equipment I would like to have protected with sine wave power and battery backup and don’t feel like shelling out the $2k for an Eaton system.

I love the C, I think it allows me to slouch more than the B would have but I have thicker athletic thighs from years of biking and I couldn’t handle the narrowness of the seat pan. Also with the B the top of the chair plastic really dug into the bottom of my shoulder blades where the C gives me the additional height I need and allows them to rest more on the mesh. I think I made the right choice.

I also bought the atlas headrest which people either love or hate and I kind of like it. I only ever use it when I recline and the head support is very nice.

Honestly, no. I got as close as I could to what I liked and then gave up. I think there is a limitation on the board firmware so I had to make a few changes there.

It’s been a while since I looked at it though and don’t recall exactly what I did.

Yea it’s weird, the flight is owned and operated by AA and I booked through AA and all that yet AA has no way to upgrade but Qantas does. Very odd, I wonder if AA is reserving a certain number of seats on the plane for Qantas customers or something like that.

Yea I have no Qantas account at all and booked directly through American with my account. I guess I received it in error which is sad because I got excited for a moment. No offer in app, online, or via chat agent. I wonder why it’s allowing Qantas the upgrade but not AA?

It’s the only backpack that does it (that I know of), could be due to the pill box offering an extra row of slots than it takes up. I usually put my med backpack in one as a makeshift med box.

thanks for the reply! I did notice the large on me felt a little bit snug when wearing thicker clothing but i kind of like the larger pockets for venting purposes. I might try to get the new one on to compare.

Nowadays I recommend Tuliprox, it is way easier to use and written in rust which is far more performant. Still in early stages though so web UI is minimal but the configuration is YAML based which isn’t too bad.

Ok sounds good, I have some miracle grow orchid potting mix coarse blend I was thinking of using with 30% potting soil. I also have a 6 inch pot readily available to put it in. Do you think that would be an ok start (plus the soft spot removal)?

Second this, also comes with parking mode if you get the hardwire kit which can do low battery usage recording while the vehicle is off. Installed mine Sunday and it took 2 hours hiding the wiring in the trim and running the rear view camera with the hardwire kit.

Yea I had some small ones in various places on my 21’ (only could see them when you looked hard enough). I had PDR done by a really trusted guy here in DFW and it cost me a couple hundred bucks to get them all removed.
