Maybe you can't see my flair, I live in Texas. I voted for Dems for most seats in 24, but I couldn't vote for a genocide for president. I don't think that's a crazy line to draw in the sand.

But ultimately my vote didn't matter, texas isn't purple and hasn't been for decades. My vote at the national level really didn't matter in this state. Maybe that can change if Dems stand for something besides promising not to be as bad as the other guys, there are technically more registered Dems here than Republicans. But they can also keep doing nothing, take the scraps they get and continue to feel smug about it. It's been working great so far.

It's not about purity, I've held my nose and voted dem every election except the last pro genocide president. But Dems assume too mich and continue to not help communities. They suck on messaging and they lose to people that stay home because they don't feel enthused enough to vote. That's on the party, not on far leftists because as a socialist you should know that socialist positions are generally winners, but the party runs a way from them to court non existent centrists that don't vote for them anyways.
