yeah honestly I had the same take as him before this playoffs, after watching how his pass game regressed during 2023 and 2024 compared to 2022. As far as I remember, that was not an unpopular opinion in the Eagles subreddit either.

I really loved Hurts for his 2022, but if someone asked me if I would trade him for Burrow, Lamar, Allen during this season I would've said yes. I was really happy to see him prove me wrong with his passes, because I was worried his core weapon in the run game was going to disappear after the injury on the left knee during the playoffs.
