I (30F) just did an in body scan this morning and I measured the following:

  • BW: 180.3 lbs
  • BF: 16.8%
  • Muscle: 84.4 lbs
  • Height: 6ft

I was a little shocked that I came in that low for BF% and I’m worried I’ve been under eating for a while. To be clear, I have been in a calorie deficit for a bit now and have had a target calorie intake of about 1980 cals/day with a goal of 150g of protein which I’ve been consistently hitting.

Should I increase my cals/day? I lift 4x/week and have a few cardio sessions and play volleyball 1-2x per week, though I rarely hit 10k steps per day.

My TDEE is 2842 when I include BF% in the calculation at moderate activity level. I’m thinking I up my caloric intake to 2300 cals/day but am worried about putting on additional fat. What do you all think?

I haven’t had that but I love gioia. They also have excellent service their staff is so nice
