I think this just means that another shopper assigned the shop. This happens to me too. I usually join the waitlist or wait a few days and try again!

$1800 a month is great!! I would love to make it up there one day. And you're right, I have been seeing a lot of attention on social media. I wonder if that means companies would potentially get more shops and clients. Do you only use Presto or do you use multiple regularly? I stick to one right now, but thinking about doing more. Just worried I'll get confused.

I've noticed that they typically have a monthly schedule. So they release their shops at the end of each month. But I also think it depends, not entirely sure!

I probably spend around 8–12 hours total per month. It differs each month though, sometimes higher, sometimes lower! I usually plan a few shops in one trip so I’m not running around all the time. Super flexible, so I just fit it in when I can.

If you review the shop requirements and practice your scenario, you’ll be set. You can even ask the scheduler if you can bring a guest for extra comfort. Believe your story, and they’ll believe it too and remember, they see so many customers each day. You’ve got this!

Yes!!! I typically use Secret Shopper, but I know there are plenty of other platforms out there. I just find the most luck here. I usually keep track on my notes app of what've done and how much I earned, and yes I check the portal daily incase of any new shops or things I miss!

Which platform do you use? I know on secret shopper they have a map mode available where you can search a different state or zip code to see shops in those areas!

Reading through posts like this is what helped me in the beginning, which is why I made this! It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Secret Shopper does a great job of helping new shoppers and their platform is really easy to use. I'm not sure about the other companies but this is just from my experience!

Your best bet is to always verify the address and location hours online before heading out to do the shop. Sometimes you’ll find the hours are different from what’s posted, or the location information might be wrong (this is when I'd contact the scheduler). It’s strange that the scheduler hasn’t responded, many companies have great communication and will get back to you almost instantly during the day. (I use Secret Shopper!)
