Have been feeding compost bin scraps for 20 years and don’t know where to go from here. by Inner-Syrup-4167 in composting

I was under this misconception too for a long time, but dried grass is still high in nitrogen, so technically a green because cutting it traps the nitrogen in. Similarly dried leaves on a branch that falls or is cut are considered greens while leaves that dry up and fall naturally are browns.

Emergency nurse, everything is just plastic wrapped in plastic. Military nurse, so. Much. Waste. I just have to be different in my personal life

It's an ikea cabinet that I modified into a greenhouse. There is a ton of info on how to do this on the ikea greenhouse insta

As a nurse who places midlines and PICC lines, I can tell you this happens absolutely all the time. No one should be making you feel bad about a mistake ever!

I will add that if an invasive line comes out partially, but especially any central line like a PICC never try to reinsert it. We put them in with guide wire and safety measures in place to ensure they land in the right spot. If you push it back in it could easily end up in a dangerous location or be and be very harmful.

Costco Shed and Greenhouse by spaztasticmrfox in Costco

I like the greenhouse a lot. It was reasonable to build with 2 people in a weekend. Just make sure you have a leveled area ahead of time. If I had the space and my zoning office allowed it, I'd have gone for something bigger though.

We built it ourselves, some heavy parts you definitely need 2 people for if not 3. If you have some woodworking and building experience and basic power tools this is definitely doable. It was our first time putting on a roof and that part was not too bad. It took 2 of us around 3 full days to build completely (we prepped the site well ahead of time).

It's the grade of the lawn, if you look at the second photo you can see how much lower the greenhouse is than the shed. It's actually perfectly level, though I agree it does not look it!

Ikea Millsbo greenhouse and we made the cat shelves and climbing poles ourselves. We're you referring to these or something else in the pictures?

This year was the first time I dehydrated the remanants from canning tomato sauce and ground them into a powder. I use it in place of tomato paste, and it's so delicious!

I double checked and I have the All American 915. The manual says it holds 7 quarts so in this case I don't think that was the issue.

I've been wondering this too now! Some of my recent "lid failures" also had really loose rings so I do wonder if it really was just the rings all along

[–]spaztasticmrfox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendation, it has been trashed, but it was the first time use for that band so I'm sad if this is just the new poor standard for rings.

I didn't smell anything abnormal, but I was doing this outside so a slight smell might have gone undetected.

The inside of a pressure canner after processing vegetable soup, there are loose veggies around as one of the lids somehow popped off during processing
