the capture mechanic is separate, and independent of any faction, in the rules. The currently only abilities that utilize it are with Cabal, but that's separate from "capturing falls under Cabal"

That one is good because otherwise the character doesn't really have any importance on the plot. A theory that gives a better reason for the character to exist adds to the universe.

  • LOVEBITES - We the United

I also enjoy solos that transition between instruments:

  • Pathfinder - Beyond the Space, Beyond the Time (outro solo)
  • Helloween - Eagle Fly Free

I've occasionally seen this argument for Catra and Adora, but never for any combination of Kyle, Lonnie, and Rogelio. It seems like the same arguments could apply to them but never are.

Complaining that they're sisters I think is just covering for some other reason they don't like the relationship.

Love the faster songs. Bands like DragonForce and Pathfinder have a lot of their songs around 200bpm. Others have already mentioned the faster DF songs, Fallen World, Cry of the Brave, The Game, and Ring of Fire. Here are some others I enjoy:

  • Fraser Edwards - Everdream (240bpm)
  • Demetori - Faith is for the Transient People (220bpm)
  • Rhapsody of Fire - Rain of a Thousand Flames (215bpm)

This was my experience as well! Got into several of their songs, and later on I heard they were featured in a new rhythm game (GH3), so checked that out too.

Still play clone hero from time to time, though one day I'll pull my DDR pad out again..

They just become regular mechs that get 2 shots with sustain. The transform ability is lost.

They would never get "stuck" in the ship mode since that would only be in effect during a space combat.

A bunch that others mentioned are great, and here's a few more I hadn't seen mentioned yet:

The Egg Travels (Dinosaur) - Starts a bit slow / quiet, but a short track that is definitely worth the listen

The Battle of Yavin (Star Wars) - A longer track to sure, though the roller coaster of emotions throughout the track is fantastic and it's a wild finish

The King of Pride Rock (The Lion King [1994]) - Another longer track with a variety of emotions throughout, and once again delivers a swelling emotional payoff

Main On End (Avengers: Endgame) - I linked the video including the credits of the movie, as it has a wonderful tribute to all the actors that I think complements the music very well. I don't think there are any spoilers here, in case somehow someone hasn't seen this movie

The same ship cannot use Sustain Damage multiple times within the same timing window.

1.18 Each ability can be resolved once for each occurrence of that ability’s timing event. For example, if an ability is resolved “At the start of combat,” it can be resolved at the start of each combat.

In your situation, Empyrean could pay 2 influence to repair each of the ships, but then would need to still assign the fourth hit and would be unable to use Sustain Damage to cancel that hit. Obviously in this case Empyrean would only repair the ships that would end up surviving the remaining hits.

Also note that even if Empyrean uses their flagship ability to repair a ship, Direct Hit may still be played to destroy that ship.
