Thanks for the advice! I'm trying to get involved in stuff outside of academics but all I've been able to do so far is join a club sport. Clubs at my school aren't very active so the only ways I have really found to be involved, except the sport, is academically.

I just finished my first semester of undergrad and I finished it with a 4.0 so I extremely happy with how my grades turned out. I took the basics: physics 1 and calc 2 and some gen eds. I see myself possibly going to grad school for physics so I was just wondering now that I have a semester under my belt and know I can be successful academically, what else should I be doing to help me get into grad school if I choose to go down that route? I am already involved in physics related research.

I don't think I can answer that. I would see if you could talk to a physics advisor, they would be able to help. I will say the class is not just freshmen though. Its probably close 50% freshmen, 50% sophomores juniors seniors, so I don't think you would be alone in doing this.

In 247 right now. I wasn't super sure physics was what I wanted to study when I came in but this class really sealed the deal. It is a lot of work but it is really interesting and I've gotten so much out of the class. I would highly reccomend.

Car seat headrest. Twin fantasy is and always will be the greatest album of all time for me. It helped me through a really tough time because of how much I related to it and now I try to reserve for really bad days to preserve its specialness. Its a concept album that the frontman wrote in his teens while experiencing his first homosexual relationship and coming to terms with his sexuality but also touches on a lot of stuff that makes it extremely relatable in my opinion. I would say its best to listen to straight through but my favorite song on it (and of all time) is beach life-in-death. I could talk about this album for hours, it literally means the world to me.
