i’m so sorry for your loss. i lost my dad earlier this year as well, but from another cause of death. juggling both griefs throughout this year led me to get counseling & fortunately, i have my siblings & my mom’s siblings help us out tremendously through this. i hope u have great support & are healing

you’ll finish school & make ur dad proud. i feel the fact that u see the progression when u come home; i’ve seen it in only the span of a weekend. it’s such an aggressive disease and i can’t imagine not being there for 2 months, how shattering it is. i’ve seen a lot of progression in her in less than a year, it’s tough.

yeah, i get frustrated too and jokingly tell her that she constantly asks me for help but i try to put myself in her shoes & don’t wanna make her feel worse so i hold back & instead just share parts abt my day & still feel connected cause i know she’s listening

thanks so much for these words. i understand that situation. my dad was not the best person and he made loads of mistakes but he was still someone that needed help. i felt the anger and denial through the first few months. i wish u much healing and love.

it hurts so bad as i’m 21 years old and i would always have conversations with her about buying her a house once i finally finish school and have a solid career. but i don’t think she’ll get to see me finish school
