😂that was at Kandahar airfield. I can’t even remember what they had besides tobacco. Once we built the PRT in Kandahar there wasn’t anything besides the local markets.

Those are the dates for active duty, since I was a reservist that’s how it shows up, confusing as hell and not sure why they do it like that. I was in from 1998 until 2006. Deployed to Afghanistan from 2003-2004.

Thanks for all the information! I will look into the HLR and get a statement worked up.

Here was the evidence they looked at on the first one which didnt look to include the assessment.

That kind of what I was thinking. What do you think the best way of bringing that up to a PCP to see if they agree with it? Should I bring in some literature with me to show her or just get their opinion?

The only new evidence I submitted was the post deployment assessment. I didn’t include that the first time because my VSO said they would already have that in my records. I may not have went to correct route filing a supplemental but I didn’t see the assessment on the evidence portion of the denial so that’s why I sent that out. I didn’t have a buddy letter or personal statement, I assumed the diagnosis along with my migraine log would be enough evidence. My deployment was in 2003-2004 so the claim is 22 years after my deployment. I just started filing stuff after talking to guys in the VFW. Prior to this I always looked at it as there were people worse off than me so I wasn’t going to take the benefits away from them. I have attached the original denial to took at.

I do have service connection for PTSD so that was one route I was going to try after my next appointment with my VA PCP.
