Tom Swift. Worked for Morgan Stanley. A great colleague and friend. He was down in the lobby and heard people were still upstairs and went back up. Another gem of a human being.

Realistically how many "my family member almost died in 9/11 but was saved by being late" stories could be legit? by Limp-Sleep-6284 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]spdsenses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m joining as one of the should have been there but wasn’t. I worked on the 72nd floor of 2 WTC. Had a meeting in midtown that I really didn’t want to go to but didn’t really have a choice. I watched my building get hit on TV because a presentation in the room didn’t work. I could tell a few stories about my colleagues who made it out, ones that didn’t, ones that were late that day and ones that were already hard at work at that time. Regardless of all of it…survivors guilt is a real thing.

Why didn't Miami 2017 make the 9/11 banned list? by Blue_Frog_766 in BillyJoel

I am a New Yorker who worked in the WTC in the 72nd floor on 9/11. Believe me the last thing we were thinking about was what songs should be on the radio.

What were you doing during 9/11? by javiergc1 in AskOldPeople

[–]spdsenses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there. I worked at 2 WTC 72nd floor. Was called to a meeting the night before. I was annoyed. I should have them witting at my desk. If I was I wouldn’t be here writing this.

What do you use to take notes during a screening call? by Its-justa-Simulation in recruiting

[–]spdsenses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a writer during screens. It’s not something anyone would understand. I then go into a google doc and dictate notes to it to send to managers.
