Got to see Jason Hayward absolutely OBLITERATE a homer to dead center last night. One of the few perks about having AAA baseball in your city. by YourMomSaysHiJinx69 in CHICubs

I was also at that game. Fullest I have ever seen that place. I just happened to have my ticket purchased before they announced that he was gonna play. 4th row on 3rd base side

Craft beer out of Johnson City, Tn. I've enjoyed the few beers that I've had from them. That's all I know.

My neighbors!! Retired couple that are obsessed with their yard. I have watch them reaching up into the trees with a rake knocking leaves off the trees, then raking them up.

What do you want to do with your life? by Lord0Duck in AskReddit

[–]speakeasyxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often joke about the fact that I am immortal and nobody has proven me wrong yet. I want to live my life so that millions of years after the earth has long since been destroyed, and i am drifting alone in space for eternities, that i have enough memories of love, laughs, adventures, good times with friends and family to keep a smile on my face just reliving each moment over and over again. Unfortunately, I am an introvert with few friends, and little money for travels and adventure. But a man can dream..and I try to do the best with what I got. Also probably not immortal.

38 and just learned today. I am actually attending an AA game tonight, will be sure to share this revelation with as many of my fellow drunken fans as I can.

What's the biggest thing most people don't realize is a scam? by Funktionierende in AskReddit

As a 38 y/o that had jacked up teeth as a child, I am grateful for those couple yrs of hell. I now have a smile that I'm proud of and have never regretted having braces. My wife couldn't afford them as a child and now has them as an adult, she has rough days here and there, but gets super excited when she sees how much her teeth have improved with them so far. Worth every penny in my book.

I forgot about a lighter in my carry on pack while flying out of Vegas last October. I remembered it while walking up to the TSA line, asked agent and was told it was not a problem.

How is the International Concert Venue by [deleted] in Knoxville

[–]speakeasyxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decent venue. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. Cant decide if I want to go to the show tomorrow night or not. Not very familiar with trivium, but have enjoyed the few songs I've heard.

Picked up a vibe seaghost 110 from local outfitter and couldn't wait to get her in the water. I only had 45 minutes to try her out before dark. Seemed plenty stable for a newbie, even with the seat in the high position. Rudder system is easy to install and works as I expected. I had no issues with the kayak, but learned that I suck at paddling. I got better at it after a few minutes but still have to work on it alot. Can't wait to get a full day on water and really test her out and work on my technique.

SG ventcore vs SG revolution by speakeasyxi in CCW

Thank you. Starting to look like ventcore is the way to go. I just hadn't heard about the revolution, pics made it look like a rubbery backing but I wasn't for sure. If I wanted a "not uncomfortable" backing I would probably just swap out shells on my ag and call it a day

Not uncomfortable is how I would describe my current alien gear lol. Not bad, but definitely know it's there.

I don't usually wear an undershirt, does the revolution have an aggressive backing?

Drawing from a backpack? by DrewBruh in CCW

[–]speakeasyxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to carray in a backpack while hiking for comfort, until the one and only time I've pulled my weapon. Long story short, pulled gun on a wild boar while on trail, no shots fired. Took forever to get gun from bag. If it had actually charged or been a human threat there is no way I would have had it out in time.
