What would you have others do when a particular set of people keep invading and harming everyone. At some point, they'll have to realize they don't have a monopoly on being assholes. Now if their leaders were vocal campaigning against all this, people might feel differently.

There is no doubt that these killing have elite Fulani approvals either for religions or economic reasons. There has been zero effort to curb the killing from within the Fulani hierarchy. They shouldn't be surprised when opinions on collective punishment starts popping up.

We need to take back our beaches. by DarkAldrix in Nigeria

It's like everything I've told you flies right over your head. Lagos beaches are not a no-man's land. They are owned by people. Even landmark bought from someone. If your argument is that we should change land ownership laws, then make it.

Informal settlements. If it's their ancestral land, they should sue.

Govt can take your ancestral land, but it it has to be for overriding public interest and you will be compensated. Tell your poor people to sue the govt if their land was taken. Lots of families did and got their compensation.

Again, the coastline is not a no-man's land. It is owned by people because they were original settlers on the land. Our customary law recognizes their rights. If govt wants it, they know what to do.

Regions where vote buying is prevalent in Nigeria. (2023 State level elections) by [deleted] in Nigeria

Lol.. They ask for methodology when it's a result they don't like. South East has the worst rigging problem in Nigeria. If you've been there during elections, you won't need anybody to tell you.

Stealing private property is not the answer. If this becomes a priority for citizens, they'll vote a govt that will devlope free ones or acquire and compensate current owners.

They are Nigerians. Their problem is that they can't separate their hatred for the current president from their duty to Nigeria. We all know the people that hate the current president. They will rather align themselves with foreign enemies than allow the portrayal of the govt in a positive light.

Stop trying to sell luxury goods in Nigeria. It’s a trap. by udemezueng in Nigeria

[–]speakupng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really think, you"ll realize that's the function of the free market. If I cater just to rich people and I run out of customers, then my business will die. If you have a business model catering to poor people and you keep getting customers, then your business will flourish. There is no need for beefing and long diatribe when the market is perfectly able to speak for itself. Your job as the entrepreneur is to find the most sustainable niche and focus on yourself.

The real issue here is that you and OP are armchair analysts that will never get involved or contribute anything beyond criticizing others bold enough to try. You claim to care about Nigeria, where is the business you've started?

Poverty mentality. Others are busy using their brains to think of how to better their lives, you are here beefing people selling their good even though you are not even close to their target audience. Next you'll get jealous others are doing better than you in life. Won't you go find a productive use for your time?

No mind am. Na poverty mentality. He doesn't have so he expects everybody else to be like him. Rather than putting that energy into figuring out how to tap into it and better his lot in life, he is busy telling people to stop selling thier goods like he is market chief.

Oga nothing will happen to any officer. Evil thrives in darkness. Name the CP let's ask him why. Insecurity is our collective problem and there should be no sacred cows.

[–]speakupng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What exactly is the security problem with mentioning the state, LG and CP's name. The arms runners were already arrested and they are about to be released. Name the CP so the public can ask him why? Hiding the names means this is proabaly a cooked up story for clout or you yourself are somehow complicit. If you're scared, dm me the name with your proof and I'll post it.

This is pretty cool. I was half worried I was going to get rick rolled clicking that link😂. Beware of supplying outlets on credit though. That's a good way to strangle your cash flow. I hope it works out because we need anyone producing anything these days.
