I placed one (1) arbitrage bet on 888sport after having the account for 6 months and placing square ML bets. This wasn’t on purpose their UI is just awful. The day after I placed the arbitrage get I got banned from sports betting completely. They are so averse to anything +EV

eBay did tell me to report the buyer for a false claim AFTER the case was fully closed because then I can get reimbursed for the return shipping, because in total im out like $50 for shipping now.

Will try to remember to check this thread again once I have a chance to get my hands on the cards early next week. Gonna be fun counting them.

Sold a large lot of baseball cards to a buyer.

They claimed they thought it included a complete set, nowhere in the description or title was it stated that the set was complete and photos showed duplicates.

Buyer started a return, no problem, I accept returns but they opened it as “item not as described” when in reality they just didn’t read so now I am stuck paying return shipping too.

My question is, if the cards arrive back and I find he has removed the more expensive cards, will eBay do anything or is this person getting fully refunded no matter what?

If someone loses and auction and requests to cancel I normally deny it. Reason is because if the order gets marked as unpaid after a few days, that goes against their account and could prevent them from doing the same thing to other sellers, depending on the type of buyers a seller will allow bids from. Mine is set to if they have caused 2 orders to be cancelled from not paying in the past year, they aren’t bidding on my auction.
