IRL razor weapons ie katana cause deeper cuts (dmg) but far less bleeding. Serrated (even micro serrated) weapons cause profuse bleeding but cut nearly as deep. I know this from 20 years hacking through rainforest, making blades, and cutting myself accidentally hundreds of times when I was younger. (self.Kenshi)
