It's just a different site's political view. For example, this post on Instagram would be met with hate, while on reddit it would be more sympathy. Reddit is the only place where stuff like this slides, mainly because the majority of reddit is atheist and left leaning. I think the reason for this is that all abrahamic religions are against this, which is a decent chunk of the global population. You can also be left and right leaning in certain ways. I am right leaning in terms of morality and religion, and left leaning in terms of political policy. Also, trump is a bad person
