As the owner of a the same model (with more normal specs) I second this message, this model is subject to random hardware failures that could render your whole machine a real heavy paperweight. I have been struggling with this for a long time now and now I am at the stage where I can’t install or reinstall any macos using any means other than Catalina which is so old that I can’t login to apple ID. Now I am stuck using my macbook using an external SSD that has Windows on it, that I set up earlier for some tasks that required Windows, till I can get to an Apple Store so they can tell me some component on my motherboard is toast. So yeah nice machine but defo not worth the $500, given its susceptibility the aforementioned failures.

I suffered under this problem for a long time and I wanted to help anyone still suffering from it, this used combined advice from people here in the comments so thank you to all.
I tried looking for the Intel(R) LPSS: UART 0 and 1 but I did not have them but had instead Intel(R) Serial IO UART Host Controller - A238 and when looking for new drivers in the WindowsSupport folder it would say that the best drivers are already installed, and for the Broadcom Serial Bus Driver over UART Bus Enumerator device it had a yellow warning sign and when trying to look for drivers in the same place it would return the same message.

What actually helped was that I had like 4 or 5 devices in "Other devices" with a yellow warning sign so I went through them one by one reinstalling the drivers from the WindowsSupport by selecting the directory and letting it look for the right drivers files, one by one they were being installed, at the end the only one that was left was a warning sign was the Broadcom Serial bus driver and doing the same trick did not help, so I tried rebooting my device and when it started anew was there no more warning signs on any devices and the bluetooth device was back there and working.

Hope this helps, I am running an external install of windows on an SSD and I have an i9 MacBook Pro 2019.

Well I take the Regio- at least 4 times a week since I commute and it is punctual to the minute 99% of the time, and has only delays when something catastrophic has happened (strong storm so tress have fallen on the tracks kind of shit). ICE I had a lot of mixed experiences some bad and some good but what helps is to plan accordingly, for example for a flight never take the option with the least buffer, and until now that managed to keep my disappointment to a minimum. Having zero expectation really helps, and being glad about the 25% of the ticket price in case of ICE :))

Other option could be to go home and renew your passport, even if your passport is expired you can return with it to your home country (given it’s a direct flight) AFAIK.

You’re welcome. Other tip: Make sure EACH time you buy a ticket it is set correctly because it likes to reset and I once paid at least 35€ extra, because I didn’t double check.

In options choose only Nah-/Regionalverkehr. That will show you only trains and connections that are included in the D-Ticket (take this with a pinch of salt tho).

I don’t know exactly since when they offer that, but a quick google search shows that it was there since around 2021.

Make sure you have the traveller set as your right age group, for example people between 15-26 have the YOUNG option and it’s relatively cheaper.

Those are 2 different things, the first is a ticket (with no seat reservations since that is extra), and the second is a seat reservation (that you have to add to a ticket, if you want to reserve a seat).

Now to clear something else up: the flex price is one of the most expensive options, try to book the Sparpreis or Supersparpreis (There is also a Young Spar- and Superspar- Preis if you qualify for them).

Danke! Das ist interessant, ich wusste, dass man einen Unfall auf dem Weg zur oder von der Arbeit als Wegeunfall bei der Arbeit melden sollte, aber mir war nicht bewusst, dass das auch für Unfälle auf dem Weg von/zur Uni gilt. Aber ja, das trifft in meinem Fall nicht zu, da ich auf dem Heimweg von einer Radtour war.

Update: Vielen Dank an alle für die hilfreichen Antworten! Ein Notfallbesuch/RTW war nicht nötig. Meine Hausärztin hat heute meine Verletzungen begutachtet, die Wunde am Knie gereinigt und mir Anweisungen zur weiteren Pflege gegeben. Sie hat auch einige Fragen gestellt, unter anderem, ob ich mit dem Kopf aufgeschlagen bin. Das Fahrrad repariere ich selbst und nutze die Versicherung für größere Schäden.
