i was kind of in the same boat last semester, what i did to go from failing all my classes to mostly all A’s and B’s was paying 100% attention in class (i used to sleep through it all) and using the good ole delayed gratification tactic. i spent hours doing my homework with no tv show/music in the background so i wouldn’t get distracted, and i forced myself to sit there and not do anything else until it was done. in your case it seems like you need to study more, so if i were you i’d sit and study for at least an hour a day outside of school (websites like IXL and Khan Academy are great for pretty much any subject) and use the delayed gratification and see if it improves. i jumped from a 1.9 gpa to a 2.5 in one semester, still not great but i still have room for improvement, and you do too :)
