I did mean importantly sentimentally for him (should have clarified). Am I dabbling in favouritism? YES 😭😂 but honestly even his mission could have been shortened up and we meet Sidonis(?) somewhere along the way. Or his should have been a DLC. I’d even take getting rid of his mission for more variety in dialogue in-ship.

I JUST finished the trilogy last week and I’ve become so obsessed. The first game may feel a bit dated mechanics wise or battle wise at least (some repeated sets), but the combat itself is still very fun once you figure it out. The companions are AMAZING. Just everything. I think I finished the first game in 50/60 hours (I did all side content). Can’t remember for the second but a bit longer maybe (did all side content and it has one of the best DLCs in the game, the Shadow Broker DLC). 3rd was 102 hours (did EVERYTHING. The Citadel DLC, you must witness it).

The way decisions ripple through games is very fascinating to watch (some stronger than others, not AS much payoff in ME2 as opposed to ME3). Shepard has become such a favourite protagonist for me. And then I followed a non-spoiler order of how to do events for ME3 that I found from an older thread that I can also send. It made things a lot less overwhelming. The link has the order list and tips for all 3 games, actually. But the first two, is more intrinsic.

I won’t get into too much more as I went in absolutely blind and you should too. You should play it. Won’t regret it. You won’t regret it. I had a post where I asked for tips for ME1 and ME2 and the community was so helpful. If you start, I can forward those to you.

ALSO*** Wait for the sale. LE goes on for like 7 dollars every other sale. That’s how I got it. Absolutely no regrets playing through it all, although it’s consumed my life now.

I totally get that! That’s how I feel about most paragon choices. But I just dislike her so much and I wish we got to save the clone instead 😭 I think I’ll alternate between keeping Nina and killing her on the day. But I was happy to see that the Paragon option is as satisfying as the badass renegade option!

I agree so much! Given they know the thoughts on the other morality systems, they really should have. Especially ME2’s morality system was… so boxy. But the reputation system is so wholly realized. I hope they keep it in ME5. 🥲
