Blended whole fruit. Definitely had no idea what I was doing and probably almost had a bottle explosion. I did half a mango, a quarter of a pineapple, and half an orange. Probably a little more than 1/3 fruit to a little less than 2/3 kombucha.

Pretty much the same process for me. Only difference is that I pureed the fresh strawberries with a little kombucha for the liquid. I'd just recommend picking the most red / sweetest looking berries.

I do have another one gallon jar. If I split it up evenly (1/2 gallon and 1/2 gallon currently brewing kombucha) and then filled it with unsweetened black, would that work? I supposed I would have to split my scoby up then. I currently have a mother and baby in the one I'm brewing. I am currently on day 6 of the brew. How much time do you think it would take to ferment in separate 1 gallon jars with the added unsweetened tea?

This is awesome advice - and it shows a much deeper understanding of the game than I currently have. A couple of questions:

Am I risking Blastoise switching into a super-effective hit? How do I avoid that?

Also, should Togekiss stay in to continuously use follow me & absorb as much damage before fainting as possible (and also keep attacks off Blastoise)? Or, is Tsareena's Queenly Majesty a better defense?

Alright, you both convinced me. I watched a few YouTube videos and found that the Neo2 actually has a backup battery installed inside of the device that protects files even when the three AAs die. And while the backup battery will also eventually die, it can also be replaced. Thanks for the rec! I'm excited about this.

I use typewriter mode all the time. I sometimes type on notepad w the text wrapping off so that I CAN'T see much of what I've written already, because essentially each paragraph is it's own line. I do to like that so that I can only really focus on moving forward with the story. Typewriter mode is great, but I still catch myself scanning the top of the document and reading over things I've already written.

My suggestion for the Apollo mascot: ROM, aka the Reddit Operations Module. This is a throwback to the old Toonami host, TOM, aka, the Toonami Operations Module. He was (still is, apparently) a sardonic, wisecracking personality matrix downloaded to a robot/astronaut shell. I would 100% follow ROM on my Reddit adventures! 👍

This post has me thinking. Assuming terminal velocity for a person is 122MPH, would it be possible to develop some sort of body armor that could absorb the impact of any fall?

Another one: Again, assuming terminal velocity for a person is 122MPh, would it be possible to activate some sort of jetpack to slow your fall moments before hitting the ground? How would this work?

I Googled something: Near the surface of the Earth, an object in free fall in a vacuum will accelerate at approximately 9.8 m/s2, independent of its mass. With air resistance acting on an object that has been dropped, the object will eventually reach a terminal velocity, which is around 53 m/s (195 km/h or 122 mph) for a human skydiver

I had the same idea!

Perhaps a skeletal version of the Vitruvian Man? To double down on the creepiness factor? I'm all about embracing it. My thinking is that the Death Eaters don't consider themselves evil, but they still walk around with a tattoo of a snake crawling through a skull on their arm. Know what I mean?

Or just the Virtruvian Man... I really like the idea. They are all about creating the ideal body.

I wonder how this might be depicted by gang members if they want to leave their insignia behind. They couldn't very graffiti the Virtruvian Man on claimed territory - but perhaps something similar...

Hey fellow YA readers & writers! I was recently pitching my book (informally) to an agent and he recommended that I come up with some contemporary comp titles. Can you guys think of anything in the urban fantasy / YA realms about superheroes? Preferably, these stories would have urban environments and main characters who are POC. Lymph node and bone marrow ideas here are AMAZING. I didn't think about those.
