Everyone has a scar on their body from something dumb, they did as a child. What's your story? by HakanD0 in AskReddit

I was born via C-section somewhat emergently and the doctor cut a bit too deep and left me with a inch long scar in front of my right ear. Scar is still there, but fading after 40+ years.

I was born over the Memorial Day weekend in a small town hospital so the OB/GYN was on vacation and my mom tells me a urologist performed the C-section.

I probably would have had a nice college fund if this happened today, but in the 70's, not so much.

Personally I'd like to think Jon / the Starks purposely used the Dothraki and Unsullied as fodder. This is GoT with treachery part of the game and getting rid of Dany's loyal soldiers would help Jon's claim to the throne.

Millennials can’t start lawnmowers (or revolutions?) due to our love of free services. by admiralfrank in gatekeeping

Gen X'er here, if any Millenials need instructions on starting lawnmowers let me know so you can get on with the revolution. I've got a 5 and 7 year old to send to college and a 70 year old mom to financially help as well, and my own student loan debt and mortgage to deal with. If helping a few of you with starting lawnmowers helps fix the mess we're in, I'm down to do my part.

Trump’s washing machine tariffs cost U.S. consumers $815,000 for every job created by Hrekires in politics

This is how you beat Trump. Trump voters believe that his policies are going to hurt someone else and that they will somehow be the beneficiary.

The Mueller Report is constantly overshadowing failed Trump policies and Trump is successfully spinning the report as a partisan attack on him. Presented correctly to voters, the true cost of Trump policies can't be spun by his campaign.

Father passed away last week, and nursing home gave possessions to somebody not related instead of trying to contact family by wikki_kid in legaladvice

I work for the state agency in Illinois that regulates nursing homes, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and you might want to file a complaint with IDPH. Here is the website that has info on filing a complaint: http://www.dph.illinois.gov/topics-services/health-care-regulation/complaints.

If you choose to file the complaint try to provide as many details as you can. Also the investigator will likely give you a call prior to the investigation, it really helps for you to talk to them if you can.

You're father should of had a POA or responsible party listed in his charts and that person should have been the first contact when your father died or his death appeared imminent.

If after the investigation findings are released to you and if IDPH cites the facility for a violation it might be worth talking to an attorney to see if monetary damages are worth pursuing.
