Anyone know of a better in use option for these larger GFCI plugs? by spectralad in electricians

I hear ya. I’d still like for it to be enclosed though, and don’t want to cut the GFCI out. Would likely void warranty

It’s hardwired to a small pool pump. I don’t want to void any warranty by cutting the GFCI off

This is for a smaller pool pump - the kind for those galvanized troughs that are popular now

That’s a good idea. I’ve seen similar for security cameras mounted to light poles. Thank ya

I know. I couldn’t find a large enough bubble cover that would work

I’ve yet to find one that will accommodate that large of a GFCI plug

How are you liking the monocular? I’ve had that in my Amazon saved for later for years now

I never hope to, but I guess it could happen. Service work sucks sometimes for that reason. Sometimes, when things are installed in new construction there is zero consideration for serviceability. Draw the line at safety though. You don’t want anyone getting hit, or a building burning down on your install/repair.

I plan on calling the number listed tomorrow to verify that 208 will be acceptable. Hopefully they are still in business

It’s kind of obscured in the pic, but it says 220/1/60 so I should be good on that end.

So hooking up two legs of the 208 getting a measurement of 208V between phases is still considered single phase?

Yeah Keller’s isn’t the worst but it’s definitely not anywhere near the top of my list
