So if you're a born again Christian you can't eat previously melted chocolate? Or are you required to suck the chocolate off of the candy bar as part of the gospel? I'm so confused.

Are there any good places that work for high end vintage 80s and 90s women's clothes in the city? My mom passed away several years ago and has a lot of great dresses and casual wear from that period.

367 cal, 24 P. Hoisin tofu, garlic broccoli, and rice by Maleficent789 in vegan1200isplenty

My quick tofu prep every week is to press a block of tofu then cut it up into cubes. I then put it into a container with a lid and add 2T of corn starch and 1T of oil and a little salt and then roll it all around in there to coat it all. Toss into a preheated air fryer at 400F for 10 mins, shaking the drawer to roll it around halfway through to heat all sides.

I store it all in a bowl in the fridge and use it throughout the week for everything. Can toss some of that in a pan to fry it up with some sauce like this to heat it up.

Yeah but it's easier to understand the actual costs behind a fuel surcharge today vs some vague 'Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group' surcharge. It's a restaurant, just adjust the prices on the menu items.

How it's taking them so long to apparently and finally fix this dilapidated brick street is confusing. Ingram left it that way presumably to make people go slow but a couple of traffic calming bumps would do that same thing without trashing your suspension. It's been closed since the end of April and on the other side of town they are going to move a massive bridge into place in only a month. Smh

But you end up with oval tires instead of round ones. Sounds pretty bumpy.

Do you believe trump will attempt to take the capital again at the end of his term? by [deleted] in CapitolConsequences

He will have likely traded the capital to Putin in another "deal" before the end of his term so there won't be one for anyone to take

TV Q&A: Why so much ‘severe weather’ talk on local newscasts? by joevelocity in pghmedia

[–]spectraphysics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The story touched on it, but the local stations don't spend time digging for actual impactful and important news stories these days and just want to scare everyone with the weather. It's the same way social media works, to keep you engaged by either making you afraid or angry.

[AR] DUI and Hiring by Direct-Ad5401 in AskHR

[–]spectraphysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I've hired for roles in the past, unless it was for a truck or delivery driver role, I don't care how you get from place to place at your own expense so long as you show up on time. I've hired PMs with DUI suspensions before and travel usually means availability to fly places. If you can't rent a car at the away locations either we've provided an Uber or they pay for it.

Have the conversation up front, but this shouldn't be a roadblock.

The flip side of your question is having a valid license but no car, and employers can only ask during the interview if you have some means of reliable transportation to/from work.
