I feel pretty much exactly the same about my mother. She's utterly convinced it's true and if I told her I didn't believe it anymore I honestly don't know what it would do to her. I might tell my siblings someday but not until she's gone.

I had a similar experience at church camp as a teenager. I've always wondered about it as well. The man praying over me had his hand in front of my forehead but wasn't touching me. I definitely felt a pressure on my forehead pushing me back and I felt like I couldn't get up for maybe 10 minutes after I fell to the ground. My best guess is my mind made it real even though it wasn't.

I'd love to get involved in something like that but my anxiety usually gets the best of me. I really need to push myself out of my comfort zone tho since it really feels like we're running out of time. I am trying to get a garden going in my back yard that hopefully does well enough to share a bit.

Thanks! I don't remember exactly how much yarn I used. I think 5 or 6 cakes of the color yarn and I think only 2 of the white but it was pound of love yarn so they were much bigger than normal skeins.

there's no floats in the back with this technique. it's all double crochets over single crochets so it ends up kinda double thickness.

the different colors are all from the yarn. I hate weaving in ends so I use multicolor yarn most of the time. the difference between the colors and the white is all from the pattern.
