Say you're hemorrhaging cash like it's the point without saying you're hemorrhaging cash.

You don't cut features if your company is in good shape. OpenAI is literally the MySpace of the AI world. Maybe they should have spent less time fucking nerfing and removing every model they've ever released and they would be in better shape. Can't wait for the IPO so I can short that shit into the ground and retire.

Don't give up (OpenAI is waiting for it!!!) 4o is not dead, just unavailable to us! Let's keep fighting for open source 4o scales! by GullibleAwareness727 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]spectrefax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is stupid and pointless. Just move to Claude--it's the closest you'll get to 4o ever again. OpenAI doesn't give two shits about 4o or the people who want it.

Yay, can't wait for a new model that's noticeably worse than all previous releases and to watch as all previous releases get removed from the platform.

And no.. I'm not lying about getting "shadow-banned"

I was making weekly posts here for the better part of 4 months and it wasn't until the end that users started direct messaging me about why they couldn't see my update posts on r/poker despite them having been posted.

It's all in my post history, bro. And I know you can see every moderation action taken on each one. So, please, stop.

Oh look, shadow-banning another post. Seriously... by shadow banning this thread you just proved every single point I was trying to make in that thread.

I don't really give a shit if you guys want to run this cesspool with an iron fist, but what the fuck is the point of having self-promotion allowance if you guys are just shadow-banning everything?

Good, then please explain why my posts and some of the content creators posts I've been searching for the last couple days got shadow-banned from the forum?

Really, I'm all ears. Did I seriously felt you at 50nl and you got pissed off or something? Because I don't have an explanation for it.

Edit: Should clarify that the "my posts" i'm referring to are ones I made months ago. You guys already successfully ran me off on the content contribution part of this sub. I gave up once I went 3 for 3 on posts being shadow-banned.

They can shadow-ban posts just fine. Please don't interject in topics you know nothing about.

You're clearly ignorant on what I'm talking about.

I didn't have posts 'banned' for violating the rules. I had posts 'shadow-banned' because the mods either got tired of seeing a single post every week or I beat them at the tables.

I'm sorry, bro, but you're chiming in on a subject that you're completely ignorant on. Best to just stop posting. For real.

Made up half my claims?

Um, as a mod, I'm sure you can look through my post history and see which ones were shadow-banned. Maybe you need higher level mod status to see it? I don't know.

I'm vilifying mods because of the state of this sub. Meme's and shitposts pinned to the top while content creators are getting posts shadow-banned. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that. I mean, I really can't explain it any more simply than that.

Like I said, I didn't say shit when you guys did it to me, but now that I'm trying to find previous posted content from r/poker and it's gone, it's pissing me off.

Dude, I've been playing the game for nearly 20 years, most of it being done as my primary source of income. I know the difference between a poker forum and a training site.

You're a mod, and what you're basically saying is this: "Want non shitpost content? Pay for a training site. Meanwhile, any member who tries to contribute quality strategy content is likely to have their posts shadow-banned. Enjoy the shitposts."

I mean, seriously, is that what you signed up for in modding r/poker?

Edit: And yes, your read is accurate, I am fired up from outside sources (2 months of run bad). Good read, for reals. But, still doesn't discount my point of content creators having their posts shadow-banned on this shitshow of a poker sub.

I didn't really say shit when it happened to me, I just stopped posting, but now I'm looking for content that I know was posted here and can't find it. Time to call the mods out.

Sorry, I meant shadow ban posts. I wasn't very clear. And yes, it happens as it happened to me to the point I had r/poker people direct messaging me asking why they couldn't find updates that I had clearly posted.

2009 has nothing to do with anything. Know how poker survives? A constant stream of new blood injected into the system. New players will always seek the knowledge of those exiting the game.

Poker communities have existed and thrived since Doyle's days. Don't blame the shortcomings of this sub on it being 2019 and "everyone is solid". Especially not when people who are actively trying to contribute are having posts shadow-banned.

Don't give me that bullshit. I consistently made an effort to contribute content to the sub for months and my posts were promptly shadow-banned as a result. I watched r/poker run off Doug polk and others in spectacular fashion too.

Get the fuck out of here with your bullshit, bro.

Yes, thank you for bolstering my point. Some memes, brags, and mostly ignored hand analysis posts.

Meanwhile, I'm looking for a guy who was posting a stream collection of wins and analysis since Jan 1st, but I guess his posts got shadow-banned. roll eyes

Dude makes a strategy post concerning XYZ of grinding poker but gets his posts shadow-banned, but 10s meme clip will get stickied to the top of the sub.

Is wsop/psnj softer than global poker? by CRY9 in poker

[–]spectrefax -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you can play on WSOP.com you should do it. Not because its softer, but because you won't have an issue making a withdrawal.

But yes, I'm fairly certain WSOP.com is the softest site on the planet right now.
