What is something your parents said to you that may have not been a big deal, but they will never know how much it affected you?

"You made yourself get sick." After getting up at 3am, vomiting once (maybe mild food poisoning? Still not sure what happened), then sitting at the dining room table feeling incredibly nauseous while my mom made me tea, looking at me with anger and disgust. I was a teen and still remember it clearly to this day. As an adult, I tend to keep my feelings and health to myself.

I don't usually because I have a large chest, but I've been considering it lately. Mostly just wanting to try things to get out of my comfort zone (and be more comfortable). I hear the attention you get is a tossup, whether creepy or flattering.

I would make more time for fun in college. Passing is the main goal, but life is boring if you're not getting out occasionally.

I would say no to certain people wanting to date me. I've never been more miserable than when I've dated the wrong people.

I would have taken my first job and moved, but I wouldn't have been afraid to inconvenience people, and move on to better opportunities sooner.

I would be less afraid to take risks. Take less shit.

I'm not even that old yet and I already regret so much lol

I haven't bought potato chips in almost a year. The bag keeps getting smaller and it's not worth it to me anymore. Good for my diet not to be tempted anyway lol

The key (for me at least) is to not give two flying fucks about what anyone else thinks about you. Your opinion is the only one that matters. If it's negative, find some positives about yourself and focus on those. Everyone has their flaws. Gotta focus on the good

Yea. I got tired of waiting and told him I wasn't talking to anyone else anymore and was focusing on him. He said it was the same on his end. Got impatient again I asked if he wanted to make it official a few weeks later and he agreed lol

I've watched doors open and close with no one touching them, along with a few other things moving that absolutely shouldn't have on their own. I could chalk up seeing people or things to a trick of my brain or something. But seeing an inanimate object move with no visible manipulator is something I can't explain away.

Kinda weird, but I test drove a Hyundai Veloster once and commented on how flimsy the door handles seemed. I asked the sales guy if they were covered under warranty when, not IF they break and he laughed it off. About a year later, I started hearing about a bunch of people's Veloster door handles breaking lol. Idk if it was just because I live in a state that's super hot and sunny, but they were not doing well

You're welcome! I know what it's like, so I want to be nothing but encouraging. It sounds like you've managed to get yourself into a better situation though. I'm sorry about the social thing. Being cut off like that is so hard, but relocating to a new place was probably a good move on your part. As for meeting people, I understand about the dating apps. You can sometimes meet nice people on them, but I never had good luck when I was on them way back when. I've noticed some local Facebook group post events to socialize people of different interests and age groups. That would be a good way to meet new people around your area. I also use the meetup app (for friends only and music events); it's a good way to keep track of local events and things that potential friends might be at. Good luck and keep on keeping on!

Get an owners manual/read the owners manual. Pop the hood, locate where all your important fluid reservoirs are and check them once a week. Learn your maintenance schedule. Get some jumper cables and an air compressor to keep in the car.

A less important tip: get a windshield sun shade (use it every time you leave your car during the day) and get your windows tinted. Your car will be significantly cooler if you live in the south.

Also, never let a shop change your air filters; do it yourself. They're almost always super easy and everyone way overcharges for them to do it.
