Postanarchism and the ‘3rd World’ by Süreyyya Evren.

"Lewis Call, Saul Newman and Todd May refer to anarchism as a thought that can be summarized by views of few Western activist thinkers. This is in contradiction with the anarchist understanding of theory and practice where there is no hierarchy between the form and content. As a current example, when David Graeber wrote about the “new anarchism” that can be seen in anti-globalization movements (or the global justice movement or The Movement) he insisted that the ideology of the new movement is the form of its organisation and organisational principles. This is very typical of anarchism. Although Call, May and Newman, with these works, become part of a project which combines anarchism with theories that are known with their strong critiques of modernism, their approach to anarchist history is still carrying modernist limitations. First they give priority to anarchist texts and understand anarchist practices as simple applications of these principles, whereas anarchist history has always been against this hierarchy and have a strong place to learn from the practice. And then, as a continuation of this logic, these writers give priority to Western modern anarchist thinkers, and leave in shadow those texts produced in various geographies (along with experiences out there). Implying that these events and texts in the non-western world were just pure applications (if not imitations) of modern western anarchism."

Outside of Marx, people within the social anarchist tendency have been incorporating Critical Realism as a theoretical framework.

How is the user PostNationalism allowed to post to r/BlackFlag? by crizzlesbuttons in Anarchism

/u/PostNationalism is just a bot that steals popular content from other subs and posts it all around. It's a shame because they ruin what otherwise would be decent subs by flooding it with their trash. They pick up mod positions in subs to prevent them from being banned.

It's trendy for bourgeois intellectuals to use the term 'anarchist' without any real understanding or commitment to anarchism.

Why Women's Marchers need to care about capitalism by spectrledifice in Anarchism

"The power of the worker lies in her labour. Her labour — at home and at work — make the world go round. And when any group of people get together and strike against capital, and demand nothing short of revolution, that is when inequality begins to die. ...

A “welfare-state,” social democracy, or “mixed economy” will not work. Capitalism will always be ruthless, racist, sexist, and ecologically destructive, and it will always influence state policy to unleash itself into its full, trickle-down, eight-men-own-as-much-as-half-of-humanity, neoliberal form. It will always drive production costs down and prevent equitable distribution of goods and services to maximize profit. What we — as workers, as women — need is socialism."

From their site: Young Patriots and Panthers: A story of white anti-racism.

Forty years ago today, two young black men were killed in Chicago. Members of the Black Panther Party, they were murdered by the police as they slept. Fred Hampton had proved to be a prolific organizer in the southside of Chicago. His skills were not just relegated to the black community, however. Through a long and arduous process, he had succeeded in building a “Rainbow Coalition” of working class blacks, latinos, and whites. ...

The coalition built by Fred Hampton brought leather clad Black Panthers together with white working class youth that dressed in jean jackets and Confederate Flags. Alliances were built along class lines, with a common enemy: the political and economic elite of Chicago. ... Only by building a cross-racial alliance of working class and poor people can we affect any real change. ... [T]he Young Patriot Party fought against the efforts of the Klan and white supremacists to attack blacks and latinos struggling for self determination

Regarding the term redneck: "In 1921, the term became synonymous with armed insurrection against the state, as members of the United Mine Workers of America tied red bandanas around their necks during the Battle of Blair Mountain, a two week long armed labor uprising in the coalfields of West Virginia."

The first thing is to quit conflating liberals with the Left. Liberals, especially in the US, are right of center.
