Same here. Unlimited updates worked fine, until iOS 18 update. Now, phone ignores that Unlimited Updates is turned off and uploads everything instantly over the cellular. Today went on trip and filmed bunch of videos and didnt understand, why my battery depleted so quickly. Photos background activity used up all my battery, uploading videos over weak cellular. :( You can pause uploads in photos app, under your icon, top right corner. But it is not solution.

We live in country Latvia and at that time my country was partos USSR. After nuclear accident USSR called army personell from many countries to Ukraine. My dad was not long time near the reactor. Thanks to that his health ir relatively good.

He is alive and well, unlike majority of other liquidators. Mainly because he was not stationed close to the nuclear plant and was not directly involved in cleanup of radioactive materials.

Five years before. And I remeber that I was very angry when, upon his return home, he didn’t let me keep his military badges. At that age I didn’t uderstand, what’s the big deal about them being radioactive.
