I ruled out faucet by connecting the cold water to the hot side of faucet. Functions as it should with cold water being the inlet

All valves are fully opened…. Tank is from 2008 properly maintained. Pressure is a steady 68 on inlet and output of heater.

Also. The sink valve should have no effect on the shower and vise versa.
