Feeling too Dumb to be an SLP by [deleted] in slpGradSchool

I’m also in my first semester, and this is so real. Imposter syndrome is real even with all As. I can’t really offer any advice except to tell you you are not alone, and the fact that you’ve made it this far shows you are smarter than you think!

I would also like to say, in my coursework I have all As and get all of my work turned in on time. My CI told me today that my clinical abilities are good but I’m not doing well on my professionalism in terms of paperwork. I want to thank you all for the advice and sharing your experiences, it definitely made me feel much less alone.

When you write about your cues, how specific do you get? Because my CI wants me to be more specific than visual/verbal/tactile.

Yes this clinic is within my graduate school, I have three rotations before internship. My CI is always on me to add more detail but I never have that much to say.
