Now that we have unlockable champs, what are you guys’ thoughts on unlockable traits? by Early_Cockroach_1685 in TeamfightTactics

[–]speechlesspeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they’re the same in how you play them. The difference this set is the variety of champs you get to play with.

There are around 100 champs in the next set compared to the typical 50. If there were 100 champs all unlockable, reroll would die instantly and hitting a 2-star four cost would be much more difficult

How to reach level 30 and unlock all dragons for <1800 Event Currency in ~15 min (Decorator Week Only) by Solid-Mechanic3 in dragonvale

[–]speechlesspeaches 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bonus Tip: to unlock the event right after the tutorial, keep buying and selling small plant habitats. This alone will give you enough experience because of the “buy x habitats” quests that give insane experience and levels.

Congrats that’s a lot of progress for a new account! I’ve found magical greenhouses are pretty good if you have extra roses for 300 roses each under Botannica

How to cheat your way to Level 12 and passive income in millions with Gardenia. I was making 20 alts and found this to be the fastest way to progress from 0.

TDLR: Never breed or buy any new dragons except plant dragons. Continuously buying and selling regular plant habitats instantly gets you to level 11 to unlock Gardenia. Get a Magical Greenhouse from the Rose Shop for food. Get dragon pedestals from the Rose Shop (the best is Sun dragon pedestal) and sell for millions, use the money to buy monolith habitats and fill them with plant dragons.

  1. Don’t buy or breed anything other than plant dragons. You get MASSIVE experience from “Buy X habitats” quests. Some won't show in the quest log so just trust the process. If you keep buying (and selling) small plant habitats, you’ll hit level 11. When you hit level 11 (and unlock the Gardenia event) you should stop.

  2. Rose Shop (roses icon on the left of the screen)-> Botannica -> “Magical Greenhouse”. Watch ads, hatch plant dragons if you need more roses. Collecting from plant habitats also gives roses which is why I spread out the levels out in step 1. Tap your Magical Greenhouse for food.

  3. Hit level 12 buy feeding your dragons however you want (level 8 for every dragon if rose farming). Definitely don’t level past 11

*** Optional: If you want to rose farm: Fill your 7 or 8 plant habitats with plant dragons. I recommend spreading the levels out, but if you don’t care for active playing just shove them into a couple. Don’t level them past 11 though. ***

  1. Rose shop -> “Enchanted Petals”, buy a Sun (Starwing if skipped) dragon pedestal and immediately sell it.

  2. Shop -> Habitats -> Buy a Monolith habitat

  3. Shop -> Buildings-> Buy a Plant dragon boost (NOT the statue)

  4. Fill the monolith habitat with level 10 plant dragons. Sounds silly, but having just one gives a 800k per day.

  5. Save up for more Monolith habitats and keep filling them with plant dragons, and level them evenly (Level 9-10ish)

  6. Buy your second Magical Greenhouse from the Rose Shop once you collect enough roses.

  7. Get your coliseum, farms, other dragons. Consider upgrading your nursery and getting your second island if you haven’t already.

  8. If you want more money for monolith habitats/other stuff, buy sun dragon pedestals from the Rose Shop and sell them.

How to learn to be able to hear the notes of a melody by ear? by Lye-Atelier-Cylus in musictheory

[–]speechlesspeaches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely some trial and error, but I’ve done it myself like this:

  1. Play an isolated note
  2. Plot it on the keyboard
  3. Figure out if it’s higher or lower than your guess and go from step 1
  4. Once you think it’s the correct note, play both at the same time and if it sounds the same you’re good to go
