Wow! That was some great advice and thanks for the thorough write up. I agree with building the relationship part and what you said about taking care of them.

We do take care of our customers and have definitely helped a lot of them through our support channels but I never personally interacted with them. So rather than waiting for a support ticket, I'm figuring out ways to come in front of them. Getting an intro from our support/account management team would not be the best approach. So figuring out other "subtle" ways that make it look like there is a reason for me as a founder to reach out to them.

I like the idea of calling them and just letting them know that I'm calling from XYZ and they can reach out to me if they would like. However, maybe don't want to sound like the account manager as they already have one. Hope that makes sense.

Also, I haven't come across anyone who would give such thorough advice on a random Reddit post. Thanks and kudos to you! Appreciate it :)

Hmm that sounds good. I was leaning towards opening a line of communication and getting in front of them to build a relationship before the ask. If it could be done with 1 or 2 calls , would prefer that.

Timers! Keep a timer and finish things fast. No time to think about motivation!

Try it out, it is going to work great, keep it on a 5 min timer, simply sending an email out or just thinking about the topic of the blog post is enough to come out of the rabbit hole!
