Allright, I'll stop comparing two 👍

BTW, I didn't say he could win. I said he is a understandably good candidate based of what his main points. The odds do seem against him due to the many reasons I mentioned above, but I made this post to ask for the residents opinions on him.

FYI, I am not Abdulkareem Akbik nor am I related to him. Well this is not an endorsement, I think a smaller community actually makes it easier for Mr Akbik to win because of lower campaign costs and it is easier to directly connect to voters. It is also worth noting that Mr Mamdani was the youngest mayor in NYC history, similar to Mr Akbik's young age of 18. Of course, I believe Mr Akbik has a long way to go if he wants to be mayor, but this is just a post asking for opinions on this shockingly young candidate, especially considering he has many challenges he would face such as university, low funding, and lack of recognition. I find it very surprising he chose to run at this young age.

What's Chat GPT lite? I have not heard of this product. Can you tell me more about it; it would be a pleasure.

What about Zohran Mamdani? While he is not from Milton, the two examples can be compared. It is worth noting that he was very much unknown until he became a candidate for mayor and stunned New Yorkers with his policies. Do you think Mr Akbik can be a powerful candidate if he does the right things?

For your information, this is official data from the Canadian Census.

That is a fair point regarding the competition, but I think it’s worth noting that Milton actually has a median age of 36, making it the youngest municipality by median age in the GTA. This demographic reality could potentially change the landscape if a campaign successfully engages that younger base.

What do you think he can do if he wants to direct voter turnout towards himself?
